Options to avoid the monthly service fee
Each fee period you can avoid the $15 monthly service fee with one of these:
$10,000 in combined minimum deposit balances
Qualifying direct deposits totaling $1,000 or more

Options to avoid the monthly service fee
Avoid the $30 monthly service fee with one of the following qualifying balances:
$25,000 or more in qualifying linked bank deposits
$50,000 or more in qualifying linked bank, brokerage, and credit balances

A qualifying direct deposit is a direct deposit of your salary, pension, Social Security, or other regular monthly income electronically deposited through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network to this checking account by your employer or an outside agency (please check with your employer or outside agency to determine if they use the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network). Transfers from one account to another, mobile deposits, or deposits made at a banking location or ATM do not qualify as a direct deposit.
On the primary account owner's 25th birthday, the account will automatically be subject to the then current monthly service fee unless you meet one of the other options to avoid the monthly service fee.
Mobile deposit is only available through the Wells Fargo Mobile® app. Deposit limits and other restrictions apply. Some accounts are not eligible for mobile deposit. Turning off your debit card is not a replacement for reporting your card lost or stolen. Contact us immediately if you believe that unauthorized transactions have been made. Turning your card off will not stop card transactions presented as recurring transactions; transactions using other cards linked to your deposit account; or the posting of refunds, reversals, or credit adjustments to your account. Enrollment with Zelle through Wells Fargo Online® or Wells Fargo Business Online® is required. Terms and conditions apply. Transactions typically occur in minutes when the recipient’s email address or U.S. mobile number is already enrolled with Zelle. Available to almost anyone with a U.S.-based bank account. For your protection, Zelle should only be used for sending money to friends, family, or others you trust. The Request feature within Zelle is only available through Wells Fargo using a smartphone, and may not be available for use with all small business accounts at this time. In order to send payment requests to a U.S. mobile number, the mobile number must already be enrolled with Zelle. Neither Wells Fargo nor Zelle offers a protection program for authorized payments made with Zelle. To send money to or receive money from an eligible small business, a consumer must be enrolled with Zelle through their financial institution. With Zero Liability protection, you will be reimbursed for any promptly reported unauthorized card transactions. Please see your applicable Wells Fargo account agreement and card terms and conditions for information on liability for unauthorized transactions.
If you convert from another Wells Fargo checking account with check writing ability, any outstanding check(s) presented on the new Clear Access Banking account on or after the date of conversion will be returned unpaid and the payee may charge additional fees when the check is returned. Please make sure prior to converting to the Clear Access Banking account that any outstanding checks have been paid and/or you have made different arrangements with the payee(s) for the checks you have written.

If the Portfolio by Wells Fargo program is terminated, the bonus interest rate on all eligible savings accounts, and discounts or fee waivers on other products and services will discontinue and revert to the Bank's then-current applicable rate or fee. For bonus interest rates on time accounts, this change will occur upon renewal. If the Portfolio by Wells Fargo program is terminated, the remaining unlinked Wells Fargo Portfolio Checking or Wells Fargo Prime Checking account will be converted to another checking product or closed.

Where Portfolio by Wells Fargo qualifying balances are $250,000 or more, you will be reimbursed for all surcharge fees on non-Wells Fargo ATM withdrawals located in the U.S., and receive reimbursement for up to 5 surcharge fees imposed by non-Wells Fargo ATM owners or operators per monthly fee period if you use a non-Wells Fargo ATM to make a cash withdrawal at an ATM located outside of the U.S.
