Any cash pick-up transfer not picked up by the recipient within 15 days for Bancolombia, Banco Davivienda, and Grupo Éxito, and within 30 days for all other receiving locations, will be canceled without notice. Unclaimed funds will be credited back to the sender’s funding account. If the funding account has been closed, a check will be sent to the sender’s most recent address on file.
It may take up to five business days to validate the beneficiary’s account information with the Remittance Network Member.
The credit to account or the cash pick-up delivery methods for remittances may not be available at all Remittance Network Members or locations. When sending money to an account, we will need the beneficiary’s qualifying deposit account number at the Remittance Network Member. When sending money for cash pick up, the beneficiary's name provided by the sender must exactly match the beneficiary's name on their government issued identification.
The first remittance sent under each service agreement must be completed in person at a Wells Fargo branch. Customers with an existing checking or savings account may be able to complete their first remittance by calling the Wells Fargo Phone Bank, subject to caller authentication requirements and additional fraud prevention controls. Additional remittances may be completed at a Wells Fargo branch, by calling the Wells Fargo Phone Bank, or through Wells Fargo Online® at wellsfargo.com. Customers must use a desktop or laptop to conduct online ExpressSend transfers.
This service is not available at Bodega Aurrera Express locations.
A U.S. $1,000 transfer limit applies to ExpressSend remittances picked up at a correspondent agent of Banco Agricola. Remittances over $1,000 must be picked up at a Banco Agricola branch.
Remittances sent to your Beneficiary at Banco Cuscatlán, WALMART, Despensa Don Juan, Despensa Familiar, and Maxi Despensa, from all remittance providers, will be aggregated for purposes of determining whether the amount or transaction limits have been reached. When your Beneficiary attempts to pick up a remittance at any of these payout locations, the aggregate amount and number of transactions picked up will count toward these amount or transaction limits. Each RNM will reject any transaction that exceeds the amount or transaction limit. Maximum of $9,999 USD per calendar month.
A U.S. $500 transfer limit applies to ExpressSend remittances picked up at a TENGO location.
Customers sending money for credit to an account in Colombia must ensure their beneficiary has activated Automatic Credits (“Abono Automático”) with their bank prior to the sender adding the “credit to account” receiving method to their ExpressSend service agreement. For Beneficiaries who are already enrolled in Automatic Credits (“Abono Automático”) at Bancolombia, any Cash Pick-up Remittances received may be automatically deposited into the Beneficiary’s enrolled account.
The Bancolombia and Banco Davivienda branches as well as Grupo Éxito stores in the city of Cúcuta are not paying out cash remittances until further notice. Bancolombia branches in the cities of Ipiales, Buenaventura, Arauca, and Necoclí are not paying out cash remittances until further notice. New cities may be included, at any time, due to availability.
Remittances sent to your beneficiary at both Banco Davivienda and Grupo Éxito, from all remittance providers, will be aggregated for purposes of determining whether the amount or transaction limits have been reached. When your beneficiary attempts to pick up or receive a remittance at either institution, the aggregate amount and number of transactions picked up or received on that day from both institutions will count toward these amount or transaction limits. Each RNM will hold any transaction that would exceed the amount or transaction limit.

Due to unanticipated conditions such as natural disasters, civil disturbances, system issues, currency availability, local regulatory requirements, required receiver action(s), and/or location-specific security concerns, cash pickup transfers may not be available in certain receiving locations. In addition to the transfer fee, Wells Fargo makes money when it converts one currency to another currency for you. The exchange rate provided to you is set by Wells Fargo in its sole discretion, and it includes a markup.
