Card Design Studio FAQs

The Card Design Studio service allows you to customize the look of your personal credit, debit, or business debit card to create a unique, distinctive card to reflect your personality and interests or showcase your business. You can customize your card using your own image or business logo, or select an image from our image gallery.

To get started, visit Card Design Studio. Locate the card you want to customize and select Customize Now. If you want to use your own image, we recommend reviewing our image guidelines.

Card Design Studio service is currently free.

If your card is available to customize, it’ll be listed as Eligible on the Card Design Studio service page. You can use Card Design Studio as long as:

  • You have an eligible and activated debit or credit card.
  • Your accounts are in good standing.
  • You have access to your cards via Wells Fargo Online®.

Personal Credit Cards with Multiple Cardholders

If you have a personal credit card with multiple cardholders, each card can be customized with a unique image. Account holders can customize a card for anyone on the account, including additional cardholders. Note all cardholders on the account will be issued a new card and expiration date each time any credit card is customized. We recommend customizing all cards on the account within the same session.

You can customize the design of your card in several ways:

Personal Cards

  • Upload or select an image. Choose from our image gallery of unique images or upload your own image.

Business Cards

  • Upload or select an image. Choose from our image gallery of unique images or upload your own image.
  • Add your business logo. Add your business logo to one of our pre-designed templates.

Note: Design options may vary between card products. Due to differences in monitor displays, computer graphics capabilities, the size and quality of your image, the design you create and approve online may vary slightly from the actual card you receive.

Wells Fargo will review your image and send you an email within approximately 2 business days to let you know if your design is approved. Once approved, your new card should arrive within 5-7 days.
