Merchant services are financial solutions that help businesses accept and process payments. Merchant Services from Wells Fargo provides a complete suite of tools — including hardware, and software — to accept payments in person, online or by phone. Plus, our solutions help you manage operations and uncover opportunities to grow your business.

A merchant account allows you to accept card payments, while payment processing moves funds from your customer to your business account. Merchant Services from Wells Fargo combines both so you can accept and manage payments in one place.

You can accept card payments in person, online, or without physical hardware. This includes using a point-of-sale (POS) system, accepting contactless and digital wallet payments, or taking payments through your website. Virtual payments, such as manually entered card payments, invoices, and payment links, are available through Clover Gateway and included with your account.

Track sales and performance, and manage employees, customers, and inventory all through your Clover dashboard. Once your merchant account is set up, your dashboard helps you run day-to-day operations in one place. It also gives you access to features like virtual payments, invoicing, dispute management, and the Clover App Market.

Yes. You can connect most existing systems, including point-of-sale systems, gateways, and other software, so everything works together with your Merchant Services account. For more complex integrations, you can work with a Merchant Services consultant to find the right setup.

Clover software plans vary by solution and are billed directly to the merchant by Clover. Each Clover account supports only one software plan across all devices. Additional hardware or accessories may incur separate fees. Clover software, including applications and third-party offerings available through Clover or the Clover App Market, are subject to the respective developer's terms, and may include additional fees. All fees are subject to change. Existing merchants can view their current software plan and pricing through the Clover dashboard.
