Kyle Hranicky is the CEO of Commercial Banking at Wells Fargo, where he oversees teams dedicated to providing comprehensive financial solutions to meet the diverse needs of emerging middle market, middle market, mid-corporate businesses and government, institutional, and not-for-profit clients. Kyle serves on the Wells Fargo Operating Committee.
Commercial Banking includes three main business groups that work together to provide market-leading solutions, industry expertise, and insights to help enable our clients' growth and success. Middle Market Banking provides local coverage and specialized industry expertise to companies in a wide variety of industries and subsectors, as well as government, institutional, and not-for-profit clients. Commercial Capital provides a broad portfolio of secured lending solutions and capital to clients of all sizes. Global Treasury Management offers traditional and digital payment and receivables services and liquidity solutions.
Kyle began his current role in September 2021. Prior to that, he was head of Middle Market Banking, where he led the integration of three businesses to more effectively apply the capabilities and expertise of those business to better serve the financial needs of commercial clients. Kyle also previously served as the head of Wells Fargo’s Corporate Banking group, where he led the transformation to relationship businesses aligned to specific industries and clients.
Additional leadership positions Kyle has held since joining Wells Fargo in 1995 include head of the Wells Fargo Energy Group, regional manager of the Loan Syndication group, relationship manager, and loan team manager. Before Wells Fargo, he worked for the Southland Corporation.
Kyle earned his B.A. in business administration from The University of Texas at Austin, and his MBA, with honors, from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona.
Kyle lives in Houston with his wife. They have three children, one recent college graduate and two who are currently attending college. Kyle serves on the Advisory Council for the McCombs Business School at the University of Texas, and is an executive sponsor of Wells Fargo’s Asian Connection employee resource network.
