3% down payment mortgages

You may need less cash for a down payment than you think. Put as little as 3% down on a fixed-rate mortgage. Ask your mortgage consultant if you’re eligible for additional assistance for closing costs and down payments.

Home loan rate discounts

You may be able to pay less interest over the life of your home loan with an interest rate discount based on your eligible assets of $250,000 or more with Wells Fargo. Not all assets qualify. Discount not eligible with FHA and VA loans.

With a low down payment, mortgage insurance will be required, which increases the cost of the loan and will increase your monthly payment. Talk with a home mortgage consultant about the loan amount, type of loan, property type, income, first-time homebuyer, and homebuyer education requirements to ensure eligibility. We’ll explain the options available, so you can choose what works for you.

You may also qualify for specialized loans and programs for union members, newly constructed homes, employees of participating companies, military, or other unique needs.
