The Details

Process Step 1
 
A customer (cardholder) presents a card to pay for purchases. For card-not-present transactions (payments made by phone, mail or online), the customer provides you with the account number, expiration date, billing address and CVV2/CVC2/CID code (Card Verification Code for security purposes).
Process Step 2
 
Wells Fargo Merchant Services electronically sends the authorization request to the card issuer (e.g. the cardholder's bank).
Process Step 3
 
The issuer approves or declines the transaction.
Process Step 4
 
Wells Fargo Merchant Services receives the approved or declined response and forwards this response on to you.
Process Step 5
 
You submit your transactions for settlement.
Process Step 6
 
Wells Fargo Merchant Services then deposits the funds to your account. If you have a Wells Fargo deposit account, you can receive your funds as soon as the next business day.1

Qualifying customers will receive their rebate to their merchant services statement in the amount equal to the lesser of the qualifying switching expenses or maximum rebate of $500 within 60 days of receipt and confirmation of the information on the rebate fulfillment form. Qualifying switching expenses include early contract termination costs and non-Wells Fargo reprogramming costs required to switch to WFMS. Account must be open, active and in good standing at the time of rebate. All other fees may apply; not valid with any other WFMS offer, Payment Suites, or Association/Franchise Programs. Offer subject to change at any time.

With at-a-glance summary features and improved navigation to frequently used applications, you can access and manage your transaction data with greater confidence.

  • Card processing summary – A graphic summary of your last seven days of payment card transactions.
  • ClientLine reporting – Access to over 150 scheduled reports viewable online or available via email.
  • Statements – View, print, and download your most recent merchant processing statement before paper statements are mailed.
