Application Questions

Do I need a Wells Fargo account to get a Business Platinum Card?
We accept internet and phone applications for Business Credit Cards from existing Wells Fargo customers. If you do not have an existing consumer or business relationship with Wells Fargo, please visit a store near you where a banker can assist you with your application.
How can I apply for a Business Platinum Card, and what information will I need?

After I apply, when will I receive my card?
You will receive your new card(s) about 7 to 10 business days after your application has been approved and processed. If you requested additional cards on your application, they will be mailed at the same time but in separate envelopes.

Pricing Questions

What is the Prime Rate?
Prime refers to the rate that Wells Fargo announces from time to time as its "Prime Rate." In general, most of Wells Fargo's credit cards use the "Wells Fargo Prime Rate" as a base rate (e.g., "Prime + 12%). The Prime Rate used is generally similar to the prime rate quoted in the Money Rates column of The Wall Street Journal, which is the base loan rate posted by at least 75% of the nation's 30 largest banks as determined by the Journal. How do I request a credit line increase?
You may request a credit line increase by calling the National Business Banking Center at 1-800-225-5935.
How do I add a cardholder to my account?
To add a cardholder to your account, please call 1-800-231-9244.
What are my payment options?
You may pay your minimum payment to extend your payments over time or pay the full balance.

Security/Fraud Questions

What do I do if I suspect that there has been an unauthorized transaction on my Business Platinum Card?
If you have a transaction on your credit card that you or your employees did not authorize, please contact the National Business Banking Center at 1-800-225-5935 immediately.
What if there are unauthorized charges on my stolen card?
Through the free WellsProtect® program you are not responsible for unauthorized transactions that are reported within 60 days from the first statement showing the unauthorized transaction. If your card (or card number) is ever lost or stolen, your account is safe. Just report your missing card right away or tell us as soon as you notice any unauthorized activity by calling the National Business Banking Center at 1-800-225-5935.
What happens if one of my employees or I lose a credit card?
If you have a missing credit card, report it immediately to the National Business Banking Center at 1-800-225-5935. We will cancel your card and send you a new one.
