The Thomas H. Pitts Trust makes grants to support charitable and humanitarian work for the relief of poor and needy persons in the immediate vicinity of Atlanta, Georgia, as defined by the Metro Atlanta 28-County Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA).
Requirements
- To be eligible, organizations must qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Annual application period and deadlines
Applications are accepted year-round, but must be submitted by June 15 to be considered for the current calendar year.
Communications
Applicants will receive an automated email confirming their submission. Each applicant will also be notified in writing after a decision has been made.
Required agreements and reports
Periodic progress reports and final reports may be required for funded projects.
