- To be eligible, organizations must qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Average grant size: $2,500 to $5,000
Average number of grants per year: 5 to 6
Average total giving per year: $25,000
Annual application period and deadlines
Applications are accepted year-round. Applications must be submitted by September 30 to be reviewed at the annual grant meeting.
Communications
Applicants will receive an email confirming their submission. Grant decisions are generally communicated by year end.

The Lloyd L. and Helen R. Dilworth Foundation was established in 1987 to support a variety of charitable purposes. Originally from Chicago, Lloyd and Helen Dilworth settled in Miami Beach where they were very charitable and involved in many organizations.
