Learn more about loan forgiveness, and what you can do to prepare to apply

 Important Update

On October 8, 2020, the SBA announced a new simpler loan forgiveness process, form 3508S, for loans of $50,000 or less. We will be providing more details soon.

We understand loan forgiveness for your recent Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan is important to your business.

If you received your PPP loan through Wells Fargo, you’ll need to submit your request through us as well. We’ll send you an email once the Wells Fargo PPP loan forgiveness online application becomes available. Now is the time to take the first step — preparing for loan forgiveness.

Step 1: Prepare now

Step 2: Apply online

  • You’ll receive an email from us when the online application is available. You have time — there is no immediate need to apply for PPP loan forgiveness, you have until the maturity date of your loan to submit an application.
  • Once you start your online application, you’ll be able to save and come back to it as you prepare it.
  • You’ll want to wait to submit your PPP loan forgiveness application until you have collected and uploaded all your required documents.

Step 3: Receive confirmation

  • We’ll review your completed PPP loan forgiveness application and supporting documents.
  • We’ll let you know the decision, based on U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) guidelines.
