Traditional IRA contributions may be made into a SEP IRA however the ability for tax deductions varies on personal tax filing status and modified adjusted gross income.

IRS additional tax if withdrawn before age 59 ½ unless an exception applies.

Maximum contributions to retirement plans are determined as a percentage of compensation as defined in the plan document and varies among plan types. The maximum compensation limit for 2025 is $350,000. The overall maximum dollar limit of total employer and employee contributions is $70,000 ($77,500 in 401(k)s for those age 50 or older, $81,250 in 401(k)s for those ages 60 – 63).
