Pay a New PayeeShow Details

Just set up your payees once, and you're ready to go. To get started, click on Pay New Payee. Choose whether you're paying a company or a person.

Enter the payee's name. If you're paying a company, names will appear in a dropdown menu as you type, making it easier to find the company you want to pay.
Click Pay New Payee to set up your payees.  You only have to do it once.  Add your payee’s contact information and the amount you want to pay.

Once you choose a company, the address and other information will automatically appear on the screen. Enter your payee's account number, then click Make Payment.

Select the account you want to use to make the payment. Type in the amount you want to pay and choose the date you want your payment sent. Then click Submit Payment.

A Payment Confirmation screen appears. From here, you can review payment details, activate eBills, and set up automatic payments.

There are also other convenient ways to set up new payees in Bill Pay. You can find popular payees in your local area by clicking View all local payees on the Bill Pay Overview screen.

Select a local payee, browse payees by category, or look up a payee by name and ZIP code.

Pay a Saved PayeeShow Details

 
You can schedule payments in advance and arrange automatic payments for recurring bills. You can even receive and review your bills online for payees that offer eBills.

Quickly see which payments are due by clicking Show now. You'll see the number of payments due. An exclamation point will appear by the payees whose payments are due. Or to see only payees tied to a particular account, select an account from the Select Payees dropdown menu.

To make a payment, enter the payment amount or select the amount due from the convenient dropdown menu.


Enter the date you want your payment sent (we'll tell you when it will arrive). You can change the account you want to use for your payment. Then click Continue.

You'll have a chance to review your payment information before it's sent and make any necessary changes.

Once everything's correct, click Submit Payment(s). Most payments post within 2 business days.

Bill Pay icons give you key information about your payees at a glance:

Payees you’ve designated for automatic payments are indicated by a circular set of arrows.
Payees you've designated for automatic payments
 
Payees that accept same-day payments are indicated by a lightening bolt.
Payees that accept same-day payments
 
A green  icon that reads eBills will indicated active payees.
Payees for which you've activated eBills
 
A red icon that reads eBills will indicate payees not yet activated for eBills.

If you don't receive eBills or eBills aren't available, create payment-due reminders to make sure you never miss a payment. Reminders will appear in the payment summary area.
