    • 1 automatic transfer each business day within the fee period of $1 or more from a linked Wells Fargo checking account
    • 1 or more Save As You Go® transfers from a linked Wells Fargo checking account
    • Primary account owner is 24 years old or under

Can you open a savings account without a checking account?

Yes. You can open a Way2Save savings account without a Wells Fargo checking account.
 

Can you get a debit card for a savings account?

If you only have a savings account you are not able to get a debit card. You will need to use an ATM card to access the funds in your savings account.
 

Can I open a savings account for my child?

Yes. Depending upon the age of your child you may be able to open an individual or a joint account. We also provide account ownership options just for minors. Ask a banker for details.
