Wells Fargo Opens SBA Lending Office in Bend and Eugene to Serve Small Businesses in Oregon

Wells Fargo has opened SBA Lending offices in Eugene and Bend, Ore. to provide business and real estate loans to small business owners.
Staffed by Business Development Officer Kelley Mears, the offices provide entrepreneurs with loans guaranteed by the Small Business Administration (SBA) to help them start or expand their small businesses, providing financing not generally available from typical business lenders.
The new Bend office is located at 844 N.E. Third Ave. The phone number there is (541) 317-4793. The new Eugene office is located at 99 East Broadway. The phone number there is (541) 465-5681. Wells Fargo has opened other SBA Lending offices recently in Tigard, Ore.; Boise, Idaho; and Seattle.
"We also provide loans for working capital, equipment or inventory purchases, and real estate transactions," said Mears, a resident of Redmond, Ore. "The opening of these new offices is part of Wells Fargo's drive to increase and improve the level of service we provide to businesses in Oregon."
Mears has worked in the financial services industry for five years. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, she worked as a loan officer at Oregon Certified Business Development Corp. and the Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council.
The SBA's Portland district office honored Mears on May 17 as its Financial Services Advocate of the Year for her work in 1999 at the Certified Development Company.
Mears graduated from Bradford Business School in Portland. She also completed various courses given through the National Association of Development Companies.
