ConSern Education Program® Adds 52 New Companies in One Year

ConSern®,a benefits program that businesses can tap to help employees pay tuition, announced today that 52 companies have joined the service in the past year meaning the organization now serves 525 companies and more than 5.5 million employees.
New sponsors include Fortune 1000 companies America Online, Bell Atlantic, FedEx Ground, St. Paul Companies, Toys-R-Us and Quebecor. They join the ConSern program's other Fortune 1000 companies including: UPS, AT&T, General Electric, Xerox, Nissan and Target. The average corporate sponsor has been offering the ConSern program for nearly nine years.
The ConSern program provides education loans to employees of participating companies and their immediate and extended family members. In addition, the program helps companies recruit and retain employees and increase organizational productivity and performance.
