Updates to the Zelle® Transfer Service Addendum
We’re making changes to the terms and conditions you agreed to when you enrolled in the Zelle® Transfer Service. These changes will go into effect on October 15, 2025.
What do I need to do?
You don’t need to take any action. But when you use Zelle® after the above date, you’re agreeing to updated terms and conditions.
What’s changing?
You can review the updates below and in the Zelle® Transfer Service Addendum to the Wells Fargo Online Access Agreement.
Summary of changes to the Zelle® Addendum:
New parental controls feature (Eligibility to Use the Zelle® Transfer Service Section 2)
- For current customers, Zelle® is available for minors between 13 and 17 years old, but the minor cannot use Zelle® if the adult co-owner revokes or removes permission.
- If the minor is enrolled in Zelle® but the adult co-owner revokes or removes permission, the minor's email address or U.S. mobile number will be unenrolled. If any pending payments or schedules are in progress, the payments will be canceled.
- When the minor reaches the age of 18, they can use their email address or U.S. mobile phone number to enroll in Zelle without co-owner authorization.
- For new customers who are minors, Zelle® cannot be used unless the adult co-owner enables access.
