Additional Information
Overdraft Item

When a transaction such as a check or debit card purchase is presented for payment and paid even though the available balance in your deposit account is less than the amount of the transaction, an Overdraft (or negative balance) is created. An Overdraft fee may apply. For consumer accounts, ATM and everyday (one-time) debit card transactions will not be assessed an overdraft fee unless you agree and add Debit Card Overdraft Service to your account. If the service is not added and there isn't enough money in your checking account (or accounts linked for Overdraft Protection), ATM and everyday debit card transactions may be declined. There is no fee for declined ATM and everyday debit card transactions. Eligible business accounts are automatically enrolled in this optional service.

Note:
  • We limit the number of overdraft and/or returned item fees to no more than 4 for consumer accounts or 8 for business accounts per business day.
  • No overdraft fees assessed if at the end of our nightly processing, both your ending daily account balance and your available balance are overdrawn by $5 or less and there are no items returned for insufficient funds after all transactions have posted.
