Foster Care Contract

Foster care is the term used for a system in which a minor who has been made a ward is placed in an institution, group home, or private home of a state-certified caregiver referred to as a "foster parent". A foster care contract details the obligations inherent in this relationship, including financial stipends provided to the foster parent by the government. To verify such income, a customer may be asked to provide a letter from the agency administering the program and provide proof of a two-year work history with a prior or current agency.
