Pay Stub

Verifies employment income. We will tell you how many pay stubs are needed to confirm your income and if IRS W-2 forms or other documentation also are required.

You may be asked to send us a copy of any new pay stubs you receive while your application is being processed so that we have the most up-to-date information.

We may also ask for IRS W-2 forms from the previous 2 years.

If your income is seasonal, you may be asked to provide:

  • 2 most recent federal tax returns
  • Year-to-date pay stub or salary voucher showing at least 1 month’s income
  • W-2s

If you’re self-employed, you may be asked to provide:

  • Most recent federal tax returns
  • W-2s or most recent pay stubs, if applicable
  • Corporate tax returns (IRS Form 1120) for requested years

Tips for a smoother application process

  • Make sure documents are clear and legible.
  • Don't alter any pages (no strikethroughs, cross-outs, etc.).
  • Send all pages, even the blank ones.
