Closing Disclosure

Provided to you at least 3 business days before the mortgage closing. Signed at closing, the Closing Disclosure provides the terms of the loan and the closing costs, which may include premiums for hazard or mortgage insurance and escrow deposits for property taxes.

In some cases, if your loan application includes the sale of another property, you may be asked to provide a Closing Disclosure from that transaction to verify proof of sale or equity proceeds.

Tips for a smoother application process

  • Make sure documents are clear and legible.
  • Don't alter any pages (no strikethroughs, cross-outs, etc.).
  • Send all pages, even the blank ones.
