Language Preference Questions

What is the Language Preference?

Language Preference allows you to set your preferred language to Spanish for the Wells Fargo supported services and communications. Once set, Language Preference will apply to the following:

  • Wells Fargo Mobile® app on AndroidTM smartphones and iPhone® devices.
  • Eligible push notifications, text, email alerts and other communications and notices.

Please note some communications and services will continue to be in English until more Spanish language options become available.

Some Spanish experiences can be viewed on your desktop via “Español” toggle, located at the top of each page. However, neither Wells Fargo Online® nor Wells Fargo Mobile app for tablets are currently available in Spanish.

How do I set my language preference?

You’re prompted to select your language preference during enrollment in Wells Fargo Online on your mobile device and during the first-time experience in the Wells Fargo Mobile app.

When logged into Wells Fargo Mobile,

  • Select the Menu icon.
  • Under Settings, select Language Preference.
  • Select Español.
  • Click Continue.

Once it’s set to Spanish, the Wells Fargo Mobile app will appear in Spanish, and you will start receiving eligible alerts and other communications and notices in Spanish.

Will the language preference for ATM change?

No, this language preference doesn’t apply to your ATM language selection.
