Which devices does the Wells Fargo Mobile app support?

Wells Fargo Online® has a custom app for AndroidTM, iPad®, and iPhone® devices.

How is the Wells Fargo Mobile app different from our mobile website?

By using the Wells Fargo Mobile app made specifically for Android, iPhone, and iPad, we use your device’s built-in features to provide a better experience and additional features such as mobile check deposit, biometric authentication, and location services.

Is there an app for my device?

Wells Fargo Mobile app is made specifically for use with Android, iPhone, and iPad devices. Download the Wells Fargo Mobile app for Android devices from the Google Play Store or Amazon App Store, or for iPhone or iPad from the Apple App StoreSM.

Is the Wells Fargo Mobile app secure?

The Wells Fargo Mobile app is secure because:

  • 128-bit encryption masks your sensitive information.
  • When you close the app, the session ends.
  • Our Online Security Guarantee protects you in the unlikely event that an unauthorized person removes funds from your account.

Does my device support the Wells Fargo Mobile app?

How do I know I am downloading a legitimate Wells Fargo Mobile app?

To help ensure the security of your personal and account information, download apps from reputable sources only. When downloading a Wells Fargo Mobile app for your mobile device, ensure that Wells Fargo Bank is listed as the app publisher or seller.

What is "Sign On with Touch ID"?

“Sign On with Touch ID” allows you to use your device’s Apple Touch ID® feature to sign on to the Wells Fargo Mobile app using your fingerprint instead of entering your username and password.

If you have turned on Touch ID on your smartphone or tablet and registered one or more fingerprints, you can use your fingerprint instead of your username and password to sign on to the Wells Fargo Mobile app.

To enable Touch ID, make sure you've downloaded the most recent version of our app and use a Touch ID capable device.

What is "Sign On with Face ID"?

“Sign On with Face ID” allows you to use your device’s Apple Face ID® feature to sign on to the Wells Fargo Mobile app using facial recognition instead of entering your username and password.

What is "Sign On with Android Fingerprint"?

“Sign On with Android Fingerprint” allows you to use your eligible Android device’s fingerprint feature to sign on to the Wells Fargo Mobile app with your fingerprint instead of entering your username and password.

What can I do using the Wells Fargo Mobile app?

Developed for iPhone, iPad, and Android mobile devices, you can:

  • Pay bills
  • Transfer funds
  • Deposit checks
  • Send and receive money from people you know and trust with Zelle®
  • View account balances and details
  • Search transactions
  • Activate or replace credit/debit cards
  • Find ATMs using GPS
  • Enable push notifications
  • Use a Mobile Wallet
  • Use a Card-Free ATM Access Code

Note: Online Statements and Documents are currently not supported by the Wells Fargo Mobile app for smartphone. Please use Wells Fargo Online or the Wells Fargo Mobile app for iPad or Android tablet devices to view online statements and documents.

What if I lose my mobile device?

You should use another device to sign on and change your password.

If your mobile device contained information associated with the Mobile Wallet feature, or if you need additional assistance, contact customer service at 1-866-863-6762, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

To use the Daily Change app, do I need a Wells Fargo checking and savings account?

Yes. To use the Daily Change app, you’ll need to enroll in Wells Fargo Online and have an eligible Wells Fargo consumer checking account and savings account. Once you have set your account profile, you can then make transfers from your checking account to your savings account. The Daily Change app does not support non-Wells Fargo accounts.

Which accounts cannot be accessed within the Daily Change app?

Only eligible Wells Fargo consumer checking and savings accounts can be accessed through the Daily Change app. IRAs, CDs, business and brokerage accounts, as well as Teen CheckingSM and the Wells Fargo EasyPay® Card, are excluded from the app. Customers with these accounts can use Wells Fargo Online and the Wells Fargo Mobile app.

Does my device support the Daily Change app?

Currently, the Daily Change app is supported by iPhone and Android mobile devices. Please visit Daily Change for supported operating systems.

What is a Challenge?

To help you grow your savings, the Daily Change app will encourage you to make an immediate electronic funds transfer to your savings account every day by participating in a Challenge. Each 7- or 14-day Challenge pairs a daily saving routine with a recommended daily transfer amount. You can accept the recommended amount or select an amount of your own choosing. The minimum amount you can save in a Challenge is $1 per day. Each day in the Challenge, the Daily Change app will send you a reminder push notification that will prompt you to sign on and make your transfer. The Challenge transfer pages are prefilled for you, to make savings simple.

Are my Challenge transfers automatic?

No. Once you enroll in a Challenge, you need to sign on each day to make the transfer. Each transfer will require your approval so you can review your account balance prior to sending. Once you complete the transfer, you will receive a check mark in the circle on the Challenge progress tracker on the home page. If you do not make a Challenge transfer by the end of the day (midnight PT) you will receive an X in the circle on the Challenge progress tracker.

Will my Daily Change app transfers be credited immediately?

Yes. Daily Change app transfers are processed the same as transfers between your deposit accounts in the Wells Fargo Mobile app. The funds will be transferred immediately from your checking account to your savings account, impacting your available balance. To verify the transfer status, you can check on the Daily Change app transfers page. Transfers will appear as “pending” until they have been processed through the nightly processing cycle (which generally occurs just after midnight Pacific Time on business days only). Once the processing cycle is complete, the transfer will appear as “posted."

I missed a day in my Challenge. Can I make it up?

Yes. From the home page, simply tap on the X icon in the circle on the Challenge progress tracker to make-up a Challenge transfer for each day you have missed.

How do I turn on / off my push notifications?

To change your push notification settings, tap the drop-down menu and select Settings. You can check or uncheck the push notifications box on the Settings screen. Settings within the Daily Change app will not impact the push notification settings on your Wells Fargo Mobile app.

Does my Daily Change Savings Goal replace My Savings Plan®?

No. My Savings Plan continues to be available through Wells Fargo Online. The Daily Change app is a separate mobile application allowing customers to create a savings goal and enroll in a Challenge. The Daily Change app focuses on short-term goals within one year and allows customers to set up a Challenge to curb their spending. My Savings Plan goals are not carried over to the Daily Change app.

Is my account information secure on the Daily Change app?

Your security is our priority. All Wells Fargo Mobile services use the same security standards as Wells Fargo Online. We use 128-bit encryption to mask your sensitive information. Our Online Security Guarantee provides added protection against unauthorized access to your online accounts.

What does the Wells Fargo at Hand app do?

Wells Fargo at Hand gives you a convenient, at-a-glance view into your eligible checking, savings, and credit card balances on your Apple Watch®. You can choose up to five account balances to display on your Apple Watch, and you can also choose one account balance to display in your Apple Watch glance.

How do I get the Wells Fargo at Hand app?

Visit the Apple App Store, search for Wells Fargo at Hand, and download the app to your iPhone. To use Wells Fargo at Hand, you must have an Apple Watch paired with an iPhone 5 or higher, running iOS 10.0 or higher.

How do I sign on to the Wells Fargo at Hand app?

You need to be a Wells Fargo Online customer to use the app. On your iPhone, sign on to Wells Fargo at Hand using your Wells Fargo Online username and password.

What is the difference between the Wells Fargo at Hand and the Wells Fargo Mobile apps?

Wells Fargo at Hand and Wells Fargo Mobile are two separate apps.

  • Wells Fargo at Hand provides a quick view on your Apple Watch of your balances for your eligible checking, savings, and credit card accounts.
  • To complete other banking transactions or to view all account disclosures from your smartphone, you will still need to use the Wells Fargo Mobile app.

Can I use Apple Pay® with the Wells Fargo at Hand app?

No, you cannot make payments with Apple Pay through the Wells Fargo at Hand app.

Which devices support the Wells Fargo at Hand app?

You can use Wells Fargo at Hand with your Apple Watch paired with an iPhone 5 or higher, running iOS 10.0 or higher.

How often does my account balance automatically refresh?

Your account balance refreshes every time you look at it on your Apple Watch. You’ll see a date and time stamp beneath it to let you know when it was last refreshed. The available balance is current as of the given date and time stamp.

If you need to prompt your account balances to refresh again, long press your Apple Watch screen then tap the Refresh button.

Is my account information secure on the Wells Fargo at Hand app?

What if my Apple Watch and/or iPhone is lost or stolen?

If you lose your Apple Watch or iPhone, you can call us at 1-866-863-6762, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to deactivate your account.

Why is the Wells Fargo at Hand app not appearing on my Apple Watch?

If you have downloaded the Wells Fargo at Hand app and it isn’t appearing on your Apple Watch, go to your Apple Watch app on your iPhone and make sure you have configured it correctly.
