Link your NOVACard to a Wells Fargo Everyday Checking account

Northern Virginia Community College and Wells Fargo have teamed up to offer you optional banking convenience with your NOVACard. Use it as your official student ID, for campus privileges, and for your day-to-day financial needs on and off campus when it’s linked to a Wells Fargo Everyday Checking account. Enjoy no-fee access to Wells Fargo ATMs nationwide, including the Wells Fargo ATMs on campus. Make everyday purchases using your Personal Identification Number (PIN) with your linked NOVACard. Take advantage of this optional benefit today.

Enjoy a wide range of services and benefits:

  • Monthly service fee waived when linked to your NOVACard.
  • Use the Wells Fargo Mobile® app to check account activity, deposit checks, transfer funds, and send money with your smartphone.
  • Get access to Wells Fargo ATMs when you don’t have your NOVACard by requesting an ATM Access Code in the Wells Fargo Mobile® app.    
  • Help stay on top of your account balance and transactions by setting up text or email alerts.
  • Access helpful online financial education and money management tools.

Linking your NOVACard

  • Getting Your Card: Create a NOVA account. Then, upload a favorite photo and stop by a Campus Card office at any campus location to pick your new NOVACard. You can also stop by the nearest Campus Card office and let us take your photo.
  • Once you have your card, you can open a Wells Fargo Everyday Checking by bringing it to any nearby Wells Fargo branch. The closest branches to campus are:

    • Alexandria campus – 4651 King St, Alexandria
    • Annandale campus – 7620 Little River Turnpike, Annandale
    • Loudoun Campus – 21361 Epicerie Plz, Sterling
    • Manassas Campus – 8441 Sudley Rd, Manassas
    • Medical Education Campus – 7030 Old Keene Mill Rd, Springfield
    • Woodbridge Campus – 2876 Dale Blvd, Woodbridge

Your linked NOVACard also comes with Zero Liability protection at no extra cost which means you will be reimbursed for any promptly reported unauthorized card transactions.

If your card is linked to a Wells Fargo account, you must also immediately contact Wells Fargo 24/7 at 1-800-TO-WELLS (1-800-869-3557). For TTY/TTD, call 1-800-877-4833 for callers with hearing impairments.
