New Mexico State University and Wells Fargo have teamed up to offer you optional banking convenience with your linked Enhanced Aggie ID Card. Use it as your official student ID, for campus privileges, and for your day-to-day financial needs on and off campus when it's linked to a Wells Fargo checking account, with two account options ideal for students. Enjoy no-fee access to Wells Fargo ATMs nationwide, including the Wells Fargo ATM on campus. Make everyday purchases and pay bills at participating retailers and service providers. Take advantage of this optional benefit today.

Plus, when linking an Enhanced Aggie ID Card to an Everyday Checking account, you'll receive additional benefits that include:

  • Waived monthly service fee.
  • No Wells Fargo fees for up to four cash withdrawals per monthly fee period from non-Wells Fargo ATMs in the U.S.,
  • Receive a courtesy refund on one overdraft fee incurred each calendar month.,
  • Receive a courtesy refund on one incoming domestic or international wire transfer fee each calendar month.,

Linking your Enhanced Aggie ID Card

  • Getting Your Card: Visit the NMSU Parking & ID Card Services Office site for instructions on receiving your Aggie ID Card.
  • Request your Enhanced Aggie ID Card and link it to an existing Wells Fargo checking account or open a new account by speaking with a banker at a Wells Fargo branch (Operating hours and availability will be noted) in New Mexico. The closest branches to your campus are:
    • 2505 El Paseo Road, Las Cruces
    • 425 S. Telshor, Las Cruces
    • 2400 N. Main, Las Cruces
  • Activate your Enhanced Aggie ID Card when you receive it in the mail by calling the toll-free number provided, visiting wellsfargo.com/activatecard, or using any Wells Fargo ATM.

If your card is linked to a Wells Fargo account, immediately contact Wells Fargo 24/7 at 1-800-TO-WELLS (1-800-869-3557). ​We accept all relay calls, including 711.

You can also sign on to wellsfargo.com/replacemycard or visit a branch in New Mexico to close and replace your card.
