What are MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa?
MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa are security services for your Wells Fargo commercial cards. They help ensure that only you can use your Wells Fargo commercial card by requiring you to enter a password when making purchases at participating online stores.
Will I need to apply for a new Wells Fargo commercial card to use MasterCard SecureCode or Verified by Visa?
MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa are designed to protect the commercial card(s) you already have, as long as they are eligible. You can check the eligibility of your MasterCard here and your Visa here. Please note: your card number is fully encrypted for your protection when you submit it to check eligibility.
Is there a fee for MasterCard SecureCode or Verified by Visa?
No. MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa are free to existing Wells Fargo commercial cardholders.
How easy are MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa to use?
MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa are easy to use. When you make a purchase from a participating online store, you'll be asked for your MasterCard SecureCode or Verified by Visa password. Simply enter your password and click submit.
If I register, what does Wells Fargo do with the information I provide during registration?
Wells Fargo cares about keeping your information safe and private. Your information is used only for the purposes of providing this service. Your information is stored on our secure server and transmitted to MasterCard or Visa using a high level of encryption. For more details, see our Wells Fargo privacy & security policy.
Can I use MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa from any computer?
Yes. You can use them from any PC with Internet access.

Registering your Visa Card

How do I register for Verified by Visa?
Visit Register your Card and follow the steps outlined or you can register your card during the check out process with a participating online merchant.
What if I do not know my unique ID, monthly credit limit or zip code associated with the card account?
Contact your company program administrator or call Wells Fargo customer service at 1-800-932-0036
Can I register more than one WellsOne™ commercial card?
Yes. If you have multiple WellsOne™ commercial cards you may register all of your cards, as long as they're eligible.
What is a Personal Message?
When you register, you'll create your Personal Message as the last step in your Verified by Visa registration. When you pay online, always look for your Personal Message before you enter your password to help ensure that you're using the authentic Verified by Visa service.

Purchasing with Verified by Visa

After I register, how long does it take for Verified by Visa to become active?
The added protection of Verified by Visa is available as soon as you complete the online registration process. You may begin purchasing at participating stores by visiting Shop with Verified by Visa (www.visa.com/shopverified).
How do I make a purchase with Verified by Visa?
When you pay with your eligible WellsOne™ commercial card, the Verified by Visa service is automatically extended to you at participating online stores. After you enter your Visa card number and submit your order, a Verified by Visa window appears. First, look for your Personal Message. Then, enter your password and click submit. Your identity will be verified and the purchase process will proceed.
Where can I make a purchase using Verified by Visa?
For a list of participating online stores, visit Shop with Verified by Visa (www.visa.com/shopverified). This list of participating stores is growing all the time, so check back often for updates. Also look for the Verified by Visa symbol, which will be displayed on many participating online stores.
How will the online store know that I'm signed up with Verified by Visa?
When you use your Visa card to pay at participating online stores, your card number will automatically be recognized as a registered Verified by Visa card.
Once I sign up for Verified by Visa, will I enter my password wherever I make a purchase?
You'll enter your Verified by Visa password only in online stores that are participating in Verified by Visa. To see a list of participating stores visit www.visa.com/shopverified.
What if I forget my password?
If you forget your password while making a purchase, you can click on the “Forgot your password” link on the Verified by Visa password window as shown below. You will be asked to provide specific information to verify your identity again. After verification, you can reset your password and complete your purchase without having to abandon the purchasing session. If you still cannot reset your password, please contact customer service at 1-800-932-0036.

What should I do if I suspect that someone has my password or has used it to make a fraudulent purchase?
If you ever suspect that a fraudulent purchase has been made with your WellsOne™ commercial card, contact us immediately at 1-800-932-0036.
What do I need to do if my account number changes (e.g., if I lose my card and get a new card)?
For security purposes you will need to re-register your new account number with Verified by Visa.

You can make a purchase at any online store that displays the MasterCard SecureCode symbol.
How will the online store know that I'm signed up with MasterCard SecureCode?
When you use your MultiCard to pay at participating online stores, your card number will automatically be recognized as a registered MasterCard SecureCode card.
