Houston Soccer Clinic

Young soccer fans from the Houston area got the amazing opportunity to hone and practice their skills next to María Sánchez and Diana Ordóñez, standout players of the Women’s Mexican National Team in an event sponsored by Wells Fargo.

[Diana Ordóñez, Mexican Women National Team Player] For me, it’s always been about more than just soccer. And I think for us to be able to come here and connect with people who have a similar background to us – not just through Houston but through being Mexican or being Hispanic is special. So, to get to come out here and watch these kids just have fun and see the way that they look up to us is inspiring.

[Parent] We’re very appreciative to Wells Fargo for hosting the event. It’s a great opportunity for the girls to get out there and meet players and practice and get a sense of the community.

Houston Meet and Greet
