Mobile payments offer a faster, easier way to pay that’s changing how customers interact with merchants. Whether you’re an established business owner or just starting out, we have the expertise to help you take advantage of the latest technologies, today and tomorrow.

Accepting mobile payments helps you give your customers what they want — a better way to pay that’s convenient, quick, and built into their daily routine.

  • Meet customer needs. Embrace emerging digital payment technologies and position your business as an innovator.
  • Speed up sales. Faster sales make for shorter lines and happier customers.
  • Enhance security. Card account numbers are never used or stored on the phone or your equipment.

Customers set up Apple Pay by adding cards on a compatible iPhone or iPad®. The service replaces their debit or credit card numbers with token device account numbers. When they make a purchase, this number, along with a transaction-specific dynamic security code, is used to process their payment. Customers can use Apple Pay:

At your location

  • Contactless payments. Near Field Communication (NFC) technology enables iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and Apple Watch owners to communicate by simply holding the phone near your NFC-enabled point-of-sale equipment.
  • Works like cards. Processing and payment are effectively the same as for traditional “card-present” sales.

With your app

  • Pay from anywhere. Owners of iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad AirTM 2, and iPad miniTM 3, can also pay for purchases using the mobile app with Apple Pay functionality built in.
  • Convenient checkout. Apple Pay transmits both payment and shipping information automatically.

Android Pay makes purchases simpler and more convenient across a range of popular mobile devices. Customers set up Android Pay by adding eligible cards on any NFC-enabled smartphone running Android OS 4.4 (KitKat) or higher.

Here’s how it works when customers make a purchase at your location using Android Pay:

  • Contactless payments. Near Field Communication (NFC) technology lets Android Pay enabled smartphones communicate payment information when held near your NFC-enabled point-of-sale device.
  • Virtualized security. Android Pay uses a unique, virtual account number instead of the real account information to process each transaction.
  • Works like cards. Processing and payment are effectively the same as for traditional “card-present” sales.

Android Pay can also be used to pay with your app:

  • Pay from anywhere. Android mobile device owners can also pay for purchases using your mobile app with Android Pay functionality built in.
  • Convenient checkout. Android Pay transmits both payment and shipping information automatically.

Samsung Pay is a simple, flexible way to pay almost anywhere cards are accepted. Customers simply tap, and hover over a payment device – including both newer “contactless” readers and older card-swipe readers – to make a quick, secure payment.

Like other mobile payment options, customers first add eligible cards on any compatible Samsung device. Here’s how payments work:

  • Contactless convenience. Samsung Pay uses Near Field Communication (NFC) technology to communicate with NFC-enabled point-of-sale devices.
  • Maximum compatibility. Samsung Pay also uses Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST), which sends a magnetic signal from a compatible device to the payment terminal’s card reader. MST payments do not require the merchant to upgrade the payment terminal, making Samsung Pay available for use at nearly all payment terminals with a card reader.
  • Advanced security. Account information is protected by using tokenization technology, and take advantage of fingerprint authentication and other Samsung security features.

Wells Fargo Wallet is the easy way for millions of Wells Fargo Visa cardholders to pay. It’s built in to their current Wells Fargo Mobile® Android app, so there’s no new app to download, and no need to set up their cards. We make it easy for your business to support this convenient option.

Customers enjoy the same checkout experience as other mobile payment types, with some great added features. Here’s how it works:

  • Contactless payments. Wells Fargo Wallet uses industry-standard Near Field Communication (NFC) technology to work with all NFC-enabled terminals.
  • Virtualized security. Payments are secured by the Visa Token Service, which replaces account information with a unique code during each transaction.
  • Integrated convenience. Customers appreciate tracking their balance information from within the app.
