Within QuickBooks Online, click Add Account in the Banking tab and search for your bank on the list. Choose the bank account you use for your business from the list, and tell QuickBooks what kind of accounts they are. QuickBooks Online

QuickBooks Online is small business accounting software that connects to your bank account. With simple set-up, you can easily manage your customers, vendors, clients, inventory and finances.

You can allow others to access your QuickBooks Online accounts. For instance, if you want to give direct access to your accountant, you must assign that person administrative rights. Otherwise, you can assign a role to your accountant, or other employee, so that all of you can work on your data simultaneously.

There are two ways to cancel your QuickBooks Online service. You can log in to your account and cancel, or contact the Customer Care Team for assistance at 1-800-4-INTUIT (1-800-446-8848).

QuickBooks Desktop

QuickBooks Desktop is a small business finance and accounting software package with optional online banking. You can do your banking and/or Bill Pay with the software if you have a Wells Fargo checking account.

When making a bill payment with QuickBooks Desktop from a Wells Fargo account, you should schedule your payment at least four business days before you want your payee to receive payment. To schedule a payment, enter the date you want the payee to receive your payment. This is the same date that funds will be withdrawn from your account.

Wells Fargo supports a version of QuickBooks Desktop that is current or from the prior two years. Access supported software to determine if your version of QuickBooks software is retiring or has already retired.

  • The transfers cutoff time is 8:00 pm Pacific Time. Transfers made after the cutoff time will be posted to your account on the next business day.
  • The Bill Pay cutoff time is 7:00 pm Pacific Time.
After setting up Wells Fargo Business Online and Bill Pay with your software, you will be able to download your Wells Fargo account activity into your QuickBooks register, transfer funds between accounts, and pay bills directly from your QuickBooks Desktop software.

Yes. You can assign access levels and/or multiple users depending on your version of QuickBooks Desktop software. With QuickBooks Desktop, you can assign multiple users to various access levels, based on the accounting function. Such as, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and sensitive accounting activities, including online banking.

Only authorized signers on your business account.

To cancel your QuickBooks Desktop service, you will need to contact a Wells Fargo Business Online Customer Service representative at 1-800-956-4442.

Note: If you cancel Wells Fargo Direct Connect service that will not remove your Quicken/QuickBooks related data from your computer. You must also remove or delete your Wells Fargo Direct Connect data as well.
