Applying for a Business Elite Card

Do I need a Wells Fargo account to get a Business Elite Card?
Yes, we only accept applications for Business Elite Credit Cards from existing Wells Fargo checking or savings customers.
How can I apply for a Business Elite Card?
Please contact your business banker or visit a Wells Fargo store. You can also visit our How to Apply page to learn more about the application process.
After I apply, when will I receive my card(s)?
You will receive your new card(s) about 7 to 10 business days after your application has been approved and processed. If you requested additional cards on your application, they will be mailed at the same time.
Can I apply for multiple employee cards at the same time?
Yes. You can apply for multiple employee cards on the same application. Visit our How to Apply page to learn more about the application process. If you are an existing business card customer, you can add cards by contacting your business banker or calling the Business Elite Card customer service at 1-800-231-5511.
I have a Business Platinum Credit Card and/or Corporate Card. Can I apply for a Business Elite Card?
You can only have one business credit card product. If you already have a Business Platinum Credit Card or Corporate Card, but would like to consider the Business Elite Card instead contact your business banker or visit a Wells Fargo store.
How do I set spending controls on my employee cards?
You can assign controls when you apply, or call our Business Elite Card customer service team at 1-800-231-5511.

How do I request a credit line increase?
You may request a credit line increase by calling the Business Elite Card customer service at 1-800-231-5511.
What are my payment options?
Your payment options are pay your minimum payment to extend your payments over time or pay the full balance. The minimum monthly payment will be the greater of: 5% of the balance or $500. For companies with credit lines over $100,000 the monthly balance must be paid in full.

Yes. You can pay your bill:

  • Through Wells Fargo Business Online®Banking with a Transfer from a Wells Fargo account or another financial institution, by using Business Bill Pay, or with our free Automatic Payment service
Does the Business Elite Card offer consolidated billing?
Yes. You can set up your account with consolidated cardholder billing or individual billing by calling the Business Elite Card customer service at 1-800-231-5511.
What do I do if I suspect that there has been an unauthorized transaction on my Business Elite Card or if I lose my credit card?
If you have a transaction on your credit card that you or your employees did not authorize, please immediately contact the Business Elite Card customer service at 1-800-231-5511.
What do I do if I lose a credit card?
If you have a missing credit card, report it immediately by calling 1-800-231-5511. We will cancel your lost card and send you a new one.
What do I do if I suspect that there has been an unauthorized transaction?
If you have a transaction on your credit card that you or your employees did not authorize, please immediately contact Business Elite Card customer service at 1-800-231-5511.
What happens if there are unauthorized charges on my stolen card?
If your card (or card number) is lost or stolen, report your missing card right away or tell us as soon as you notice any unauthorized activity by calling 1-800-231-5511.

Through the free Zero Liability program you are not responsible for unauthorized transactions that are reported within 60 days from the first statement showing the unauthorized transaction.
