Envelope-FreeSM ATMs

How do Envelope-FreeSM ATMs work?

When making a deposit, simply insert up to 30 checks or 50 bills, and the ATM does the rest.

The ATM scans your checks, counts your bills, and totals them on screen. You can adjust your amounts, then request printed images of your checks on your receipt.

Extended cut-off time

Envelope-Free ATMs give you more time to get your banking done. Deposits made before 9 pm (8 pm in Alaska) on business days are considered received that day. Business days are Monday through Friday (except holidays).

Green benefits of Envelope-Free ATMs

Our Envelope-Free ATMs continue to process checks without the use of paper envelopes, saving thousands of trees a year.

They have also helped us save gas and reduce emissions. By processing checks electronically, we don’t need to pick up checks every day at each ATM.

And by choosing our new electronic ATM receipts, which are sent directly to your personal email address or your Wells Fargo Online® secure inbox, you can help us save even more trees. Just sign up for Wells Fargo Online Banking and our ATMs will give you the choice of an electronic receipt.
