Hope A. Hardison, Senior Executive Vice President, assumed the role of Chief Administrative Officer in September 2015. She leads enterprise functions that work together to deliver a holistic approach the company’s brand, reputation, and culture: Corporate Responsibility & Community Relations, Data Management & Insights, Human Resources, Marketing, and Stakeholder Relations (including Corporate Communications, Government Relations & Public Policy, and Investor Relations).

Chief Administrative Office (CAO) teams provide strategic counsel and enable business performance and company operations by leading priorities for the enterprise, including championing the customer and team member experience, growing the company’s brand value, rebuilding trust with stakeholders and enhancing the company’s reputation, cultivating and evolving company culture, and driving engagement through a compelling team member experience. The CAO also manages data as an asset for the organization, developing data architecture, strategy, and policy to enable insights that guide customer strategies and navigate the evolving regulatory environment.

Hardison, a 24-year veteran of Wells Fargo, has held numerous human resources, finance, and strategic planning roles since joining the company in 1993.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Swarthmore College and has done graduate work in applied economics and statistics at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She also serves on the board of trustees at the UC Santa Cruz Foundation.
