Latest America Online Updates:- America Online 8.0 - upgrade
Please print these instructions so that you may refer to them during the download and installation of your browser upgrade.
We recommend that, prior to proceeding with the download procedure, you quit any other programs you may have open on your computer.
After printing the instructions, you are ready to begin.
Launch your AOL® software and enter your password.
- On the main AOL Channel screen, click on the Keyword button, enter Upgrade and then click Go.
- Click Get AOL 8.0 Now!.
- Click Get AOL 8.0 Now on the new screen that appears.
- America Online will automatically start to download and install the new version of the AOL Software.
- After the files are installed, you will need to restart your computer.
- If your computer asks you if you want to restart your computer, click Yes.
- If your computer does not ask you if you want to restart your computer, follow your normal procedure of turning off your computer.
- The next time you turn on your computer and start America Online, your upgrade will take effect.
